New Orleans Today

New Orleans TodayFilmed in New Orleans in January 2007, “New Orleans Today” is a short film that depicts the devastation and destruction in New Orleans almost two years after Hurricane Katrina. Set to the bluesy howl of Anders Osborne’s “Oh, Katrina,” the film’s powerful images work together to make a compelling statement: New Orleans still needs help. Shot in DV and edited in Final Cut Pro, “New Orleans Today” was produced in the Spring 2007 Documentary Production class.
